Don’t let a low battery charge stop you from using your electric vehicle. With the Qoltec portable charger, you can charge your car’s battery in just a few hours. The portable charger is ideal for longer holiday trips, for example; thanks to its compact design, it takes up very little space, and can easily be carried directly in the boot or in the bag included in the set. The charger can be plugged in anywhere with access to a 230V earthed socket, allowing you to enjoy independence as you cover more kilometres. 

High charging power, 7-pin Type 2 connector compliant with current regulations, four options (6A, 8A, 10A, 13A, 16A, 20A, 24A, 32A) for optimal charging

The charger features a Type 2 connector, which is currently the official European Union standard and charges electric cars fitted with the appropriate charging socket. A Type 2 connector has 7 pins, of which 3 or 5 are for charging and 2 are for communication between the charging station and the car.

Compatible with most electric cars sold in Europe.

The Qoltec charger supports four current modes: 6A, 8A, 10A, 13A, 16A, 20A, 24A, 32A. It is worth noting that the Type 2 connector is designed for electric vehicles with a charging power greater than 3kW.

Current adjustment button, indicator light

The product is fitted with an LED indicator showing the charging status. On the display, you can:
• set the current level using the current adjustment button: 6A, 8A, 10A, 13A, 16A, 20A, 24A, 32A;
• monitor the progress of the charging process using the LED indicator,
• set the start delay

Our chargers are made from durable, UV-resistant, non-flammable polycarbonate. In addition, the charger is highly water-resistant and dust-tight. The housing features special holes designed for outdoor installation.

If you wish to mount an EV charger on the wall, you should choose a suitable location, preferably close to your car and a power source. You will also need to install a residual current device (RCD) – a Type B RCD is the best choice to ensure full supplementary protection. Ensure that the location is protected from moisture, free from any mechanical damage and not exposed to direct sunlight. Make absolutely sure this is the case. A 5-metre charging cable with an ergonomic plug will ensure a high level of convenience.

Use your own renewable, clean energy generated by solar panels to charge your vehicle - this is a way to reduce the running costs of your car and cut carbon dioxide emissions. You can charge your car at any time and up to several times faster. The number of panels required to charge your car will depend on the battery specifications, the vehicle model and the distances travelled. You can charge it in two ways:
• whilst the photovoltaic panels are generating energy – this is the most cost-effective solution
• by using surplus energy generated by the photovoltaic panels, which has been fed into an energy storage system or the grid and can be used at a later time.
