DisplayPort Alternate Mode – a picture without the need for additional adaptors

The USB-C port uses DisplayPort Alternate Mode technology, which allows a video signal to be transmitted directly via the USB Type-C port. This means you can connect a compatible laptop, computer, tablet or other device to a monitor equipped with a DisplayPort without the need for additional adaptors.
