Compatible with a wide range of cards, both contact and contactless

A chip card reader primarily serves as an interface between the card and the computer, enabling physical access to the card. However, it is the software that is responsible for understanding and correctly handling the data and functions specific to a particular chip card. Therefore, please note that the software must be adapted to the type of card, not to the reader itself. The device allows the following cards to be read:
- tachographs,
- working time recording cards,
- loyalty programme cards,
- electronic identifiers

The Qoltec SCR-0643 reader has been designed for full compatibility with KIR cards – qualified certificate carriers used for electronic signatures in official, banking and business systems. This allows the device to enable secure login and authorisation in services such as ePUAP, ZUS PUE, eDeklaracje, e-Banking and government platforms.
