The automatic 12.8V LiFePO4 battery charger is a practical solution for the daily charging of lithium iron phosphate batteries. The device operates in CC/CV mode, offering a charging current of 20A and an output voltage of 14.6V ±0.2V. With a power rating of 150W, efficiency of up to 90%, active fan cooling, an LED indicator and reverse polarity protection, it enhances both convenience and safety of use. It does not support lead-acid batteries.

High efficiency and effective cooling
With a power output of 292W and 90% efficiency, it ensures efficient battery charging whilst making effective use of energy. A built-in fan actively cools the components, allowing the charger to operate stably even during longer charging cycles. An LED allows you to quickly check the device’s operating status without the need for additional measurements. A red LED indicates that the charger is charging the battery, whilst a green LED indicates that the charging process is complete.

Two-stage CC/CV charging mode
The charger uses a two-stage CC/CV charging mode, suitable for 12.8V LiFePO4 batteries. In the first CC (Constant Current) phase, the device charges the battery with a constant current of up to 20A ±0.2A, ensuring rapid recharging. Once the correct voltage level is reached, it switches to the CV (Constant Voltage) phase, during which it maintains the voltage at 14.6V ±0.2V, whilst the charging current gradually decreases. This allows for a controlled completion of the charging process without the need for manual adjustment.

Aluminium casing – durability and effective heat dissipation
The robust aluminium casing increases the charger’s resistance to mechanical damage, whilst also aiding the dissipation of heat generated during operation. The ribbed surface of the casing increases the heat exchange area, working in conjunction with the active fan cooling. This allows the components to operate under more stable thermal conditions, even during longer charging cycles.

Connecting a LiFePO4 battery correctly – starting charging safely
Before starting to charge, ensure that the battery is a 12.8V LiFePO4 type and that the charger is disconnected from the mains. Connect the red terminal (+) to the positive terminal of the battery, then the black terminal (–) to the negative terminal. Once you have checked that the connections are correct, connect the charger to a 230V AC mains supply. The device will automatically start charging in CC/CV mode, which is tailored to the characteristics of LiFePO4 batteries. Once the process is complete, first disconnect the charger from the mains, then remove the black terminal, and finally the red one.
Multi-level protection – safe charging at every stage
The charger is equipped with a range of safety features that protect both the device and the connected battery throughout the entire charging process. Reverse polarity protection safeguards against the effects of incorrect terminal connection, overvoltage protection limits the risk of exceeding the permissible voltage, and thermal protection responds to excessive temperature rises. Additional short-circuit protection enhances safety in the event of a short circuit. Once the appropriate charge level is reached, the device automatically stops the charging process, meaning it does not require constant supervision.
