The charging station is fitted with a ‘Wall End Wire’ power cable, designed for direct connection to the electrical installation. The exposed wires allow for permanent installation by an electrician, in accordance with the requirements of a single-phase or three-phase installation. Thanks to this solution, the charger is permanently integrated into the installation, which increases operational reliability.

High charging power, 7-pin type 2 connector complies with current regulations

The charger has type 2 connector, which is currently an official standard of the European Union and charges electric cars equipped with a suitable charging socket. The type 2 connector is 7 contacts, of which 3 contacts or 5 are for charging and 2 for communication between the station and the car. Compatible with most electric cars sold in Europe. It is worth mentioning that the type 2 connector is designed for electric vehicles with charging power greater than 3kW.

Thanks to the ability to pair your phone with the charger via WiFi, you can monitor and manage the charging status in real time using your smartphone. From the mobile app, you can adjust various charging parameters, such as charging current and charging time, as well as schedule charging sessions to suit your needs. You have full control over the charging process for your electric vehicle. The built-in RFID card reader enables hassle-free charging authorisation – simply tap your card to start or stop the charging process.

Intuitive operation, smart delayed charging function

You can set a delayed start time for charging and save on energy costs, for example by using a night-time tariff; this is a more economical solution as it does not put a strain on the system. Simply plug the charger into the mains and, before connecting the car, press the delay button a specified number of times or set it in the app. Pressing the button with the clock icon delays charging by 1 hour with each click.

If you wish to mount an EV charger on the wall, you should choose a suitable location, preferably close to the car and a power source. You will also need to install a residual current device (RCD) – a Type B RCD is the best choice as a means of full supplementary protection. Ensure that the location is protected from moisture, free from any mechanical damage and not exposed to direct sunlight. Make absolutely sure this is the case.
