Qoltec energy storage will significantly increase the functionality of the photovoltaic installation and provide a stable and environmentally friendly power source for devices in your home. The energy produced from the photovoltaic system first satisfies the current consumption, the excess production if greater than the consumption goes to the energy storage until it is fully charged and can be used when the production stops or is lower than the demand. It is worth adding that the stored energy is available all the time. When the storage is discharged, electricity is drawn from the grid. Surplus energy can be sent to the grid.

Our energy storage units are equipped with extremely efficient and deep discharge resistant lithium-iron-phosphate batteries - LiFePO4. The advantages of the battery are undoubtedly its long service life, which is up to several thousand charge and discharge cycles, its light weight and lack of memory effect. In addition, these batteries do not pollute the environment, are non-toxic and non-flammable, which increases the safety of use in photovoltaics.

An important part of battery protection is the BMS, which constantly monitors and manages the operation of the equipment. It protects each battery cell from overheating, overcharging, under-voltage and deep discharge, which can damage the equipment.

The product is equipped with a number of protections  :
UVP protection - protects devices from too low voltage at the output, which affects the stability of connected devices,
SCP protection - is a short circuit protection,
OVP protection - is protection against too high output voltage and damage to connected devices,
OCP protection - is protection against too high current on the line,
OTP protection - is protection against overheating.
